Local art goes hand in hand with local business

The Futon Company on Highland Street is a great spot to find unique, hip and contemporary items to decorate your home. Known for their selection of high quality futons they also carry lighting, jewelry, candles and artwork. One favorite item I saw there recently was bowling pin lights. You set them on the floor and knock them over to turn them off!

The Futon Co hosts local artists in the shop too with monthly featured artists on the walls, original paintings, custom woodworking, books, handmade jewelry and prints. I give big kudos to owner Elizabeth Hughes for continually supporting local artists through her business.

This month you can find abstracts by Randy LeSage and Patti Kelly on the walls. Brian Burris’s book Codex: Fragments & Schemata, a few Scott Boilard paintings…
AND you can find me there too! My prints are one of the newest items to hit the racks. Available as of today; June 1st.

Its likely that the Futon Co has the largest variety of locally handmade items in Worcester. Conveniently open 7 days a week; so go check it out!
