This year I explored the water and skies as viewed from the ferry as it crosses between Wood’s Hole and Martha’s Vineyard. Inspired by the calming experience of standing on the deck of the ferry while breathing in the salt air and taking in the view. Silvery mornings and deep blue evenings are depicted in these scenes, along with one of my favorites, State Beach Sunset Study.
